Manerra slapped the shuren's neck in anger and tightened his knees as she plunged down the slope. Damn Hyran's soul for the timing of his death.

  1. Wow, this is intense and startling. Really great six, Kimberly!

  2. You managed to get some worldbuilding into this snippet as well as some emotion and backstory. That's quite a feat for six sentences! Well done.

  3. Hyran is definately a man of courage, and not ready to die without a fight. Nice six! :)

  4. Great description. Love the fantasy element and Hyran was one tough guy!

  5. I agree with Silver--definitely packing a lot into these few sentences. I had to read through the six a few times to make sure I understood what was happening. But I love your use of short and long sentences. Makes for great reading. And I love the look into the world you gave us.

  6. Silver is completely right. This is an intense, and very detailed six sentences. Very well done!
