Wow, this is intense and startling. Really great six, Kimberly!
ReplyDeleteYou managed to get some worldbuilding into this snippet as well as some emotion and backstory. That's quite a feat for six sentences! Well done.
ReplyDeleteHyran is definately a man of courage, and not ready to die without a fight. Nice six! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat description. Love the fantasy element and Hyran was one tough guy!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Silver--definitely packing a lot into these few sentences. I had to read through the six a few times to make sure I understood what was happening. But I love your use of short and long sentences. Makes for great reading. And I love the look into the world you gave us.
ReplyDeleteSilver is completely right. This is an intense, and very detailed six sentences. Very well done!
