Desperation replaced Denassa’s dismay. “We can leave Kayarra at camp, go on to Rajma’s Head ourselves--tonight--and be back before midday.”
“No, Denassa,” Yutrenta said quietly.
Denassa struck the ground with her fist. “I don’t serve Kayarra!” she shouted. “If the shecarens have died through our inactions, who will follow us, who will dare to?
